The dharmakāya has neither duration nor recency. Since the dharmakāya has neither duration nor recency, awakening also has neither duration nor recency. Why is this? Awakening is rooted in the dharmakāya; since the dharmakāya has neither duration nor recency, one knows that awakening also has neither duration nor recency. Knowing that awakening in the remote past is without duration, one should know that recent awakening at present is also without recency.
