1.16

十明智斷者，前明緣了是却討因源，今明智斷是順論究竟。始則起自了因，終則菩提大智；始則起自緣因，終則涅槃斷德。若入涅槃，眾行休息，故居第十也。

Tenth, clarifying wisdom and eradication: previously, clarifying conditioning and revealing was tracing back to the causal source; now, clarifying wisdom and eradication is the forward discussion of the ultimate. Beginning by arising from the revealing cause, it culminates in the great wisdom of bodhi; beginning by arising from the conditioning cause, it culminates in the virtue of eradication of nirvāṇa. When one enters nirvāṇa, all practices cease; hence it stands tenth.
