上臨當被害，此定入死目，此明有罪、無罪，或是推檢未定、或可判入徒流，若判、未判，俱被禁節，明聖心等本救其囚執，不論有罪、無罪也。

Above, one was on the verge of being harmed, which definitively fell into the category of death. Here, it clarifies guilty or innocent, or that investigation has not yet determined [guilt], or that one may be sentenced to penal servitude or exile; whether sentenced or not yet sentenced, both are bound and restricted. This clarifies that the noble mind is impartial; fundamentally it rescues those in prison and captivity, without regard to whether they are guilty or innocent.
