金剛，非八部數，手執此寶護持佛法。或言：「在欲色天中教化諸天，即大權神也。」經云：「是吾之兄。」
Vajra[-holders] are not counted among the eight classes. Holding this jewel in their hands, they protect and uphold the Buddha-Dharma. Or it is said: 'They teach and transform the gods in the desire and form realms, being deities of great provisional [manifestation].' A sūtra says: 'He is my elder brother.'
