The commentary says: Below, this is the sixth [section], a question-and-answer re-elucidating the meaning of the world-transcending six perfections. The questioner brings up a doubt and seeks resolution for it; hence he adduces the phenomenal characteristics of the worldly six perfections to doubt whether the world-transcending mind possesses the six. The answer has two parts: first, a brief indication; second, a detailed explanation. This is the brief indication. "Signless" means that they are free from the characteristics of the three wheels of giver, receiver, and so forth. "Unconditioned" means that they are free from the three conditioned [characteristics] of arising, abiding, and so forth. Those six that I previously explained the one mind possesses are each and every one signless and unconditioned; therefore, these six perfections are world-transcending, unlike the worldly [perfections] which have characteristics and are conditioned.
