論曰：上二句者離麁精義，入空者是進義。即是上言無攝無放，此是出世精進度也。
The treatise says: The upper two lines signify leaving behind coarseness [which is] the meaning of refining (精); entering emptiness is the meaning of advancing (進). This is precisely what was referred to above as 'neither gathering nor releasing'; this is supramundane vigor.
