金剛三昧經論 1.12

1.12

經曰　爾時尊者大眾圍繞，為諸大眾說大乘經，名一味真實無相無生決定實際本覺利行，若聞是經乃至受持一四句偈，是人即為入佛智地，能以方便教化眾生，為一切生作大知識。

The sūtra says: "At that time, the Venerable One was surrounded by a great assembly, and for the great assembly he preached a Mahāyāna sūtra called *The Single Taste, the Real, Signless, and Unborn, the Definitive Reality-Limit, the Innate Awakening's Beneficial Practice*. If someone hears this sūtra or even upholds a single four-line verse, that person will enter the stage of the Buddhas' wisdom, be able to teach and transform sentient beings through skillful means, and become a great good friend to all beings."
