論曰：答中有二，略答、重詳。此即略答，有其二句：上句順明是生，住無生境即是分別之心生故；下句反釋無生，若心無住於無生境，離諸分別，是無生忍。故知有住非無生忍，如是反釋。略答文竟。

The commentary says: In the answer there are two: a brief answer and a reiteration with detailed analysis. This is the brief answer, having two lines: the upper line directly clarifies that it is arising, because abiding in the realm of non-arising is precisely the arising of a conceptualizing mind; the lower line conversely explains non-arising, for if the mind has no abiding in the realm of non-arising and is separated from all conceptualizations, that is the forbearance of non-arising. Therefore one knows that having abiding is not the forbearance of non-arising; such is the converse explanation. The brief answer text is concluded.
