經曰　無住菩薩言：「彼父知其子迷，云何經五十年十方遊歷貧窮困苦方始告言？」佛言：「經五十年，一念心動；十方遊歷，遠行遍計。」

The sūtra states: Bodhisattva Non-Abiding said: 'If the father knew his son was lost, why was it only after fifty years of wandering the ten directions in destitution and suffering that he finally told him?' The Buddha said: '"Fifty years" is the stirring of the mind in a single thought; "wandering the ten directions" is the far-reaching travel of pervasive conceptualization.'
