2.138

經曰　大力菩薩言：「心若在淨，諸境不生，此心淨時應無三界。」佛言：「如是。菩薩！心不生境、境不生心。何以故？所見諸境唯所見心，心不幻化即無所見。」

The sūtra says: Mahābalavān Bodhisattva said, 'If the mind resides in purity, the various objective realms do not arise; when this mind is pure, there should be no three realms.' The Buddha said, 'It is so. Bodhisattva! The mind does not produce objective realms, and objective realms do not produce the mind. Why is this? The various objective realms perceived are only the perceiving mind; if the mind does not conjure illusions, there is nothing perceived.'
