The commentary says: From here on, the second [section] explains entry in detail. Herein there are two parts: first, generally setting forth the enumeration; second, distinct clarification through questions and answers. This is the first text. 'Internally there are no sentient beings' means that at the stage of the ten abidings, internal emptiness of persons is attained. 'The three natures are empty and tranquil' means that in the stage of the ten practices, internal emptiness of dharmas is attained. 'Then there is neither one's own aggregate nor other aggregates' means that at the stage of the ten dedications, equality-emptiness is attained, universally dispensing with the aggregates of self, other, persons, and dharmas. As for 'aggregates' (zhong): sentient beings are called 'masses' (zhong), and the dharmas of the five aggregates (skandhas) are also called the 'five aggregates' (zhong). This is conformity-emptiness, not yet having attained true realization. 'Up to the two entries' comprehensively adduces the enumeration of entries prior to the bhūmis and on the bhūmis.
