經曰　「如如之相本不有無，有無之相見唯心識。菩薩！如心之性不無自體，自體不有，不有不無。菩薩！無不無相，非言說地。何以故？真如之法虛曠無相，非二所及。」

The sūtra says: 'The characteristic of thusness as it is originally lacks existence and non-existence. Characteristics of existence and non-existence are seen only by the mind-consciousness. Bodhisattva! Just like the nature of mind, it is not without its own substance, yet its own substance is not existent; it is neither existent nor non-existent. Bodhisattva! The characteristic of having no non-existence is not the realm of spoken words. Why is this? Because the Dharma of true thusness is vast, open, and signless, beyond the reach of the two.'
