2.20

經曰　「是決定性亦不一不異、不斷不常、不入不出、不生不滅，離諸四謗，言語道斷。無生心性亦復如是，云何說生不生、有忍無忍？」

The sūtra states: 'This determinate nature is also neither one nor different, neither interrupted nor permanent, neither entering nor exiting, neither arising nor ceasing, free from the four slanders, with the path of words severed. The non-arising mind-nature is likewise. How could one speak of arising or non-arising, possessing tolerance or lacking tolerance?'
