The sūtra says: Bodhisattva Apratiṣṭhita said, "If all objects are empty, how is there seeing?"
The Buddha said, "Seeing is delusion. Why is this? All myriad existents are unarisen and signless; originally not naming themselves, they are all entirely empty and tranquil. All characteristics of dharmas are also like this; the bodies of all sentient beings are also like this. If the body itself does not exist, how could there be seeing?"
