The sūtra says: Bodhisattva Apratiṣṭhita said, "Mind, eyes, and consciousness are also like this: inconceivable."
The Buddha said, "Mind, eyes, and consciousness are also like this: inconceivable. Why is this? Form has no location; being pure and without name, it does not enter inside. The eyes have no location; being pure and without seeing, they do not go out to the exterior. The mind has no location; being pure and unsurpassable, it has no place of arising. Consciousness has no location; being pure and unmoving, it has no conditioned differentiation. Their natures are all entirely empty and tranquil."
