3.110

經曰　爾時長者梵行聞說是語而說偈言：「名相分別事，及法名為三，真如正妙智，及彼成於五。我今知是法，斷常之所繫，入於生滅道，是斷非是常。如來說空法，遠離於斷常。」

The sūtra states: At that time the elder Brahmacārin, having heard these words spoken, delivered a gāthā: / 'Name, mark, and discriminated entities, / together with dharmas, are called the three; / true thusness and correct wondrous cognition, / together with those, make five. / I now know that these dharmas / are bound by annihilation and permanence; / entering the path of arising and ceasing, / this is annihilation, not permanence. / The Tathāgata expounds the Dharma of emptiness, / far removed from annihilation and permanence.'
