3.20

經曰　舍利弗言：「一切眾生從一闡提闡提之心，住何等位得至如來如來實相？」佛言：「從闡提心乃至如來如來實相，住五等位。」

The sūtra says: Śāriputra said, "From the icchantika and the icchantika mind, abiding in what stages can all sentient beings attain the tathāgata, the tathāgata's real mark?" The Buddha said, "From the icchantika mind up to the tathāgata, the tathāgata's real mark, they abide in five equal stages."
