3.58

經曰　爾時梵行長者從本際起，而白佛言：「尊者！生義不滅、滅義不生，如是如義即佛菩提。菩提之性即無分別，無分別智分別無窮，無窮之相唯分別滅，如是義相不可思議，不思議中乃無分別。」

The sūtra states: At that time the elder Brahmacārin arose from the original limit and addressed the Buddha, saying: "Venerable One! The meaning of production is non-extinction, and the meaning of extinction is non-production; such a meaning of thusness is precisely the Buddha's bodhi. The nature of bodhi is precisely non-discrimination, yet non-discriminative wisdom discriminates boundlessly; boundless characteristics are solely the extinction of discrimination. Such characteristics of meaning are inconceivable, and only within the inconceivable is there non-discrimination."
