3.84

經曰　梵行長者言：「云何於大義科？」佛言：「大謂四大，義謂陰界入等，科謂本識，是為於大義科。」

The sūtra states: "The elder Brahmacārin said, 'What is meant by "regarding the great items of meaning"?' The Buddha said, '"Great" refers to the four great elements; "meaning" refers to the aggregates, realms, and sense-bases, and so forth; "items" refers to the fundamental consciousness. This is what is meant by "regarding the great items of meaning".'"
