The commentary says: The three stanzas of general explanation have four points:
First, two lines praise the virtues of the one who is able to preach;
Second, one stanza praises the teaching that expresses [the meaning];
Third, one stanza praises the meaning that is expressed;
Fourth, two lines praise the superior benefit of the teaching.
In the second point, "the meaning of the single truth" refers to the one mind. Relying on the dharma of the one mind, there are two gates; what the two gates rely upon is solely the one reality, hence it is called the single truth. "The path of the single taste" means solely the One Vehicle. The remaining text can be understood.
