The commentary states: This is the third [part], presenting the incorrect. Supposing someone says regarding the mind of tolerance of non-arising that the essence of the mind can be attained, abides in non-arising, and can see the principle of non-arising, they do not understand the nature of the mind. This is simply delusive grasping, which obstructs bodhi and prajñā; this clarifies failing to attain the intrinsically pure bodhi and the prajñā that realizes it. Furthermore, 'bodhi' refers to newly arisen bodhi; 'prajñā' refers to the cause of bodhi. Failing to attain the cause of awakening, it is therefore the long night, because beginningless delusive conceptualization is a great dream.
