The sūtra says: The Buddha said: "Good son! Listen attentively now, and I will expound it for you. Good son! Wholesome and unwholesome dharmas are transformed and born from the mind; all objective realms are discriminated by the words of the intellect. If one restrains it in one place, the multitude of conditions is severed and extinguished. Why is this? Good son! When the single origin does not arise, the three applications are not deployed; abiding in accord with principle, the gates of the six destinies are blocked; when the four conditions accord with thusness, the three precepts are complete."
