二來意者，此有二意：一會來意、二品來意。何故會來？前舉淨土為所信境、次辨能信心故也。二品來意者，前辨所依土、次土中化主人名故也。

Second, concerning the purpose of its occurrence: here there are two purposes—first, the purpose of the assembly's occurrence; second, the purpose of the chapter's occurrence. Why does this assembly occur? Because previously the pure land was presented as the objective realm to be believed in, and next the faith-capable mind is explained. As for the purpose of the chapter's occurrence, previously the land relied upon was explained, and next the names of the converting master in the land [are explained].
