一辨名。此中廣菩薩修行勝妙淨行之相，故名淨行品也。亦可淨者德無垢故，行者體。又淨者願，行者所淨耳。

First, explaining the title. Herein it elaborates the aspects of a bodhisattva's cultivation of supreme, marvelous pure practice; hence it is named the chapter on "Pure Practice". Alternatively, "pure" refers to virtue being without defilement, and "practice" is its substance. Furthermore, "pure" refers to the vows, and "practice" is what is purified.
