Second, as for the indestructible dedication, it has five parts: here, first is the question, next the answer, third the conclusion, fourth praising the virtues, and fifth the verses. The answer text has five parts: 1. explaining the substance of practice; 2. from 'Desiring to cause all sentient beings' onward, dedication to sentient beings; 3. from 'All buddhas accomplish immeasurable virtues' onward, dedication to bodhi; 4. from 'The bodhisattva, in this way abandoning delusion' onward, dedication to the ultimate limit; 5. from 'In this way the bodhisattva accomplishes wholesome roots' onward, concluding with praise of the virtues and functions. The text on the substance has five parts: 1. accomplishing faith in response to conditions, which has two parts: first, stating the thesis, and second, dispelling doubts from 'Why' onward; 2. from 'Abiding in this manner' onward, the causal conditions of practice established upon faith; 3. from 'The bodhisattva, with such goodness' onward, explaining the fruit accomplished through practice; 4. from 'The bodhisattva, with such diligent exertion' onward, concluding the benefits of initiating practice; 5. from 'After the bodhisattva has dedicated the wholesome roots' onward, explaining the fulfillment of vows based on practice. This has two meanings: first, because of being indestructible, one can accomplish the three dedications; second, because of being indestructible, these are the three dedications; this should be reflected on accordingly. Second, dedication to sentient beings and so forth is readily understood in the text. As for the ultimate limit, the text has three parts: first, setting aside the preceding two dedications; second, from 'Contemplating equality' onward, directly dedicating to the ultimate limit; third, from 'Constantly for all buddhas' onward, merit moving the sages' mindful care. Fourth, within the concluding praise, there are five parts: first, concluding the substance of practice; next, from 'The mahāsattva in this way' onward, concluding sentient beings; next, from 'Ultimately pure' onward, concluding dedication to bodhi; next, from 'Attaining equality' onward, concluding the text on the ultimate limit; next, from 'The bodhisattva practicing in this way' onward, collectively concluding the sublime excellence. The verse section has two parts: first prose, next verses. There are fifty verses, which have five parts: the first twenty-one praise the substance of practice; the next two praise sentient beings; the next two praise bodhi; the next ten praise the text on the ultimate limit; and the next fourteen praise the concluding praise, and so forth.
