4.55

四釋文者，約相同下位，故辨處也，此即住於無住耳。又雖同人，而無生為生、無住為住。此文有二：初不住有故，明十方清淨八住處；二辨不盡有為故，寄四海十五染處也。

Fourth, explaining the text: In terms of marks, they are the same as the lower stages, hence it distinguishes places; this is dwelling in non-dwelling. Furthermore, although identical to persons, non-birth is birth, and non-abiding is abiding. This text has two parts: first, because of not abiding in existence, clarifying the eight pure abodes of the ten directions; second, because of not exhausting conditioned things, lodging in the fifteen defiled places of the four seas.
