此是第八會，在祇桓重閣說。所以在祇桓，攝化始故。所以在重閣，表悲心在正智上重生故。此即第二依人入證分，四門同上。

This is the eighth assembly, preached in the upper storey of the pavilion in the Jeta Grove. The reason it was in the Jeta Grove is that it marks the beginning of gathering and transforming. The reason it was in the upper storey of the pavilion is to signify that compassionate intention is born anew upon fundamental right wisdom. This is the second [major division], the section on entering realization in reliance on persons; its four gateways are the same as above.
