二願欲求進，文有二：初少長行，牒前生後；二正偈頌。頌文有三十四偈，有二：初四明自無始迷輪、二有三十偈請求垂顧。初文有二：初二辨惑體；次二明過失；後三十偈中即為三十事，於中各二：初三句歎德、下一句請導。三赴欲讚教中有二：初長行、次偈頌。初文有二：初讚、次「是故」下教。初文有三、第二文有二，可知。二偈頌中有二：初長行生起、二偈頌。頌有十偈，分五：初二正歎善財能有大心、次一舉餘菩薩顯成、次一重總歎善財、次五舉五義歎善財德、次一舉益以歎也。

Second, vows and desires to seek progress: the text has two parts: first, a short prose section summarizing the preceding and introducing the subsequent; second, the verse proper. The verse text has thirty-four gāthās and contains two parts: first, four verses explaining one's own wheel of confusion from beginninglessness; second, thirty verses requesting gracious consideration. The first part has two: the first two distinguish the substance of delusion; the next two explain faults; the latter thirty verses constitute thirty matters, in each of which there are two: the first three lines praise virtue, and the following one line requests guidance. Third, within responding to desires, praising, and instructing, there are two: first prose, next verses. The first text has two: first, praise; next, from "Therefore..." onward, instruction. The first text has three, and the second text has two, which are evident. Second, within the verses, there are two: first, prose introduction; second, the verses. There are ten gāthās, divided into five: the first two directly praise Sudhana's ability to possess the great mind; the next one adduces other bodhisattvas to show accomplishment; the next one again generally praises Sudhana; the next five present five meanings to praise Sudhana's virtues; the next one adduces benefits in praise.
