九即此一華既具遍一切處，亦復該一切時。謂三世各三，攝為一念，故為十世也。以時無別體，依華以立，華既無礙，時亦如之。是故下云「過去一切劫，安置未來今。未來一切劫，迴置過去世。」又云「無量劫即一念，一念即無量劫」等。

Ninth, since this single flower completely pervades all places, it also encompasses all times. That is, the three times each having three, gathered into a single thought-moment, therefore constitute the ten times. Because time has no distinct substance of its own and is established based on the flower, since the flower is unobstructed, time is also like this. Therefore, it says below: "All kalpas of the past are placed into the future and the present; all kalpas of the future are turned back and placed into the past age." And it also says: "Immeasurable kalpas are identical to a single thought-moment, and a single thought-moment is identical to immeasurable kalpas," and so forth.
