12.31

第三對治修行增長分中有二：初護煩惱，是異凡行，亦自利行；二護小乘，是異二乘行，亦是利他行。前中明菩提分法，略作四門（別作）。

In the third section, on the antidote, cultivation, and increase, there are two parts: first, guarding against afflictions, which is a practice distinct from ordinary people and also a practice for the benefit of oneself; second, guarding against the Hīnayāna, which is a practice distinct from the two vehicles and also a practice for the benefit of others. In the first part, the factors of bodhi (bodhipakṣika-dharmas) are explained, briefly treated in four gates (treated separately).
