13.30

初約不相離者，謂前能起後，離後無前；後依前起，離前無後。不相離故，各無自性，無性緣起如幻現前。此為順觀逆成一真理平等觀。經文可知。

First, regarding non-separation: the preceding is able to give rise to the subsequent, and apart from the subsequent there is no preceding; the subsequent arises depending on the preceding, and apart from the preceding there is no subsequent. Because they are not separated, each lacks own-nature (svabhāva); and dependent origination without own-nature appears like an illusion before one. This constitutes direct contemplation and reverse completion into an equanimous contemplation of the single true principle. The sūtra text can be understood.
