二來意者，亦有三義：一前寄二乘，合顯菩薩次第轉勝，是故須來。二於無相觀前地未純，今此進入純無相，是故須來。三前功用未滿，此地中滿，是故來也。

Second, regarding the reason for its coming next, there are also three meanings: First, previously it was applied through the two vehicles; together they show that the bodhisattva progressively becomes superior, and therefore it must follow. Second, regarding the contemplation of marklessness, the previous bhūmi was not yet unadulterated; now here one enters the purely markless, and therefore it must follow. Third, previously effort was not yet fulfilled, and in this bhūmi it is fulfilled; therefore it follows.
