二來意者，亦三義：一前地雖得於無相中無功用行，而未能以無礙解隨機說法；今此進修，令證彼法，是故來。餘二門可知。

Second, concerning the purpose of its sequence, there are also three meanings: First, although in the previous bhūmi one attained effortless practice within the markless, one was not yet able to expound the Dharma in accordance with capacities through unimpeded comprehension; now one advances in cultivation to cause the realization of that Dharma, which is why it comes next. The remaining two gates can be known [from before].
