Second, from 'A bodhisattva abiding in this bhūmi' downward clarifies the accomplishment of wisdom. First, generally knowing the non-duality of purity and defilement in the three natures. Thereafter, with respect to the good, it is differentiated and unfolded into three tiers: First, within the good, unfolding outflows and outflow-free: good prior to the path of seeing is called having outflows, and good from the path of seeing onward is called outflow-free. Then within outflow-free, further unfolding worldly and transworldly: cultivation conditioned on the āgamas is termed worldly, and practice directly realizing reality is termed transworldly. Second, further unfolding with respect to that good into conceivable and inconceivable: prior to the bhūmis is conceivable, and above the bhūmis is inconceivable. Then within conceivable, unfolding determinate and indeterminate: from the śrāvaka stage of receptivity (kṣānti) onward, from the pratyekabuddha stage of supreme mundane qualities (laukikāgradharma) onward, and from the bodhisattva ten dedications onward are all called determinate; below these is called indeterminate. This is according to the Initial Teaching. If according to the Final Teaching, entering the ten abodes onward is called determinate, while the ten faiths are like light feathers, hence called indeterminate. Third, further unfolding with respect to that good the three vehicles, and then within the three vehicles unfolding conditioned and unconditioned: that which is capable of realization and cultivated into arising is called conditioned, and the true principle realized is called unconditioned, because all three vehicles are established in reliance on principle, called practice of conforming to it. The sūtra states: 'All worthy and noble ones are distinguished by unconditioned phenomena'—this is precisely this meaning.
