Fourth, explaining the text: the fruitional dharmas of the following three chapters also possess various qualities. Some would correlate them with the three bodies, calling the first the dharmakāya, the next the saṃbhogakāya, and the last the nirmāṇakāya. The text would likely not conform [to this], because this chapter extensively reveals functions such as the eight phases, so how could it only be the dharmakāya? Some also correlate them with the Buddha's essence, marks, and function. While this may be acceptable for the latter two chapters, it poses an obstruction for the first chapter, because this chapter also contains marks and function. Now I say that this chapter comprehensively reveals the excellence of the essence and function of the Buddha's qualities; the next chapter, 'Ocean of Marks', specifically reveals the marks of the excellent qualities; and the subsequent chapter, 'Minor Marks', specifically distinguishes the beneficial function of the excellent qualities.
