18.22

第二從「爾時文殊」下明其末會。於中，前則不異末之本故，雖卷而恒舒，則後文是也；後則不異本之末故，雖舒而恒卷，即前文是也。是故本末無礙，同為一品，意存於此。

Second, from 'At that time Mañjuśrī' onward explains the concluding assembly. Within this, the earlier [fundamental assembly] is not different from the root of the branches; therefore, though contracted, it is ever expanded—this is the subsequent text. The later [assembly] is not different from the branches of the root; therefore, though expanded, it is ever contracted—this is the earlier text. Therefore, root and branches are unobstructed, together forming one single chapter; the intention lies in this.
