18.32

九法界事義中，通下諸位總有十門：一正報法界、二依報法界、三現相法界、四表義法界、五言說法界、六義理法界、七業用法界、八說往因法界、九結自分法界、十推勝進法界。然此十門，同一緣起互融無礙，隨一皆具。於下文中有具不具，隨文准之。

Ninth, regarding the matters and principles of the dharmadhātu, universally applying to all stages below there are ten gates in total: 1. the dharmadhātu of direct retribution; 2. the dharmadhātu of environmental retribution; 3. the dharmadhātu of manifested characteristics; 4. the dharmadhātu of expressing meaning; 5. the dharmadhātu of verbal discourse; 6. the dharmadhātu of doctrinal principle; 7. the dharmadhātu of karmic function; 8. the dharmadhātu of explaining past causes; 9. the dharmadhātu of concluding one's own stage; 10. the dharmadhātu of recommending superior advancement. These ten gates, however, are of the same conditioned arising, mutually interpenetrating without obstruction, and any single one possesses them all. In the text below, they are possessed or not possessed; this should be inferred according to the text.
