今通辨下文諸善知識，略作四門：一明求善友意、二顯善知識義、三料簡文段、四消釋本文。

Now, to explain generally all the good spiritual friends below, we briefly create four gates: 1. clarifying the intent of seeking good friends; 2. revealing the meaning of good spiritual friends; 3. sorting out the passages of text; 4. expounding the root text.
