Third, from 'Sudhana made this reflection' downward explains seeing, paying respects, and making requests, in which there are five parts: First, giving rise to superior mindfulness, thinking he would definitely see [the king]. Second, seeing the superior objective reward with ten kinds of adornments: (1) sevenfold tiers of moats; (2) sevenfold tiers of jeweled walls; (3) one billion streets and alleys; (4) an asaṃkhyeya of crowds in the alleys; (5) an asaṃkhyeya of jeweled towers; (6) purely jeweled canopies; (7) covered with jeweled umbrellas; (8) banners and streamers erected; (9) a separate tower where the king resides; (10) Sudhana being undefiled, meaning he understood they were like an illusion, and went to seek the spiritual friend with no divergent thoughts. Third, seeing the superior subjective reward endowed with the marks of a great person, praising his virtues with ten analogies. [Having] twenty-eight [marks] is because he manifested that his causal stage was not yet fulfilled. Fourth, from 'In front of that king's palace...' downward, seeing the host and retinue gathering living beings, first bestowing material necessities and later gathering living beings. Below, ten gates distinguish the intention of giving, lacking one sentence. Fifth, paying respects and making requests, which can be understood.
