20.33

第五幻智無依門知識中，初舉法勸修內，婆呾那者，此云圓，謂具德圓備、出生無盡，故以為名。又以調柔至順超過餘位，故名賢勝。

Fifth, in the spiritual friend of the gate of non-reliance of illusory wisdom: first, within presenting the dharma and encouraging practice, 'Bhadra' is translated here as round/complete, meaning that possessing virtues is fully complete and produces inexhaustibly, hence the name. Furthermore, because she is gentle, extremely compliant, and surpasses other positions, she is called Bhadra (Sage-Superior).
