第八劫中，略無偈頌。總中塵等劫住者，非是一一世界各住塵等劫，良以一一世界劫住不同、長短差別，如塵等也。「所謂」下別舉二門，「有如是」下總結差別劫，義如別說。

Eighth, kalpas: [these] are omitted and have no verses. In the summary, "dwelling for kalpas equal to dust particles" does not mean that each world individually dwells for kalpas equal to dust particles; rather, it is because each world's dwelling during a kalpa is different, with long and short distinctions, that they are like dust particles. From "namely" below, two gates are specifically raised; from "there are such" below, the differentiated kalpas are concluded in summary, the meaning of which is as explained elsewhere.
