Part Seven: Weighing and Exhorting Aspiration. Therein are ten and a half verses, divided into four: first, one verse uses an analogy to illustrate the difficulty; second, one verse explains the difficulty of the speaker; third, three and a half verses reveal the difficulty of those who practice with faith; fourth, from 'if the three thousand' onwards, five verses cite what is easy to reveal what is difficult. Each is a single matter, becoming progressively more difficult toward the end, as can be known.
