4.46

初來意，有二：先分來者，前明所依果法，今辯依果所成因行故也。二品來者，所成行中，位前方便信行最初，信中解行及德明難辨解，居初故來。

First, the reason for arrival has two aspects: First, the arrival of the division: previously the fruit dharmas relied upon were clarified; now, the causal practices accomplished relying on the fruit are distinguished. Second, the arrival of the chapter: among the practices accomplished, the preliminary faith practices prior to the stages are foremost; within faith, understanding, practice, and virtue, "Clarifying Difficulties" distinguishes understanding, and being foremost, it arrives.
