四宗趣，有二：初通、後別。通論此三品明十信行法，於中作八門辨：一釋名、二出體、三發心、四定位、五行相、六除障、七進退、八德用。

Fourth, the central theme and purport has two: first general, second specific. Generally speaking, these three chapters clarify the practice and dharmas of the ten faiths, distinguished therein through eight sections: 1. Explaining the title; 2. Identifying the essence; 3. Generating the mind [of bodhi]; 4. Determining the stages; 5. Characteristics of practice; 6. Eliminating obstacles; 7. Progress and regress; 8. Virtues and functions.
