八法中六句:一淨教、二理果、三約緣生不生、四就體實不實、五就情為虛妄、六成壞為合散。此中通有三義:一淨,謂初二句;二染,謂虛妄;三非染非淨,謂所餘句。以約三性隨見一分,餘分性不異,故俱非法也。又約執故,梁《攝論》云「計涅槃以無生寂靜為體,能離三苦為用等,皆成法我及我所執。」是故俱非法也。

Eighth, in the Dharma, there are six phrases: 1. the pure teaching; 2. the fruit of principle; 3. with reference to production or non-production through conditions; 4. in terms of whether the substance is real or unreal; 5. in terms of sentimental [perception] being false; 6. becoming and disintegration being aggregation and dispersion. Here there are three meanings throughout: 1. pure, which refers to the first two phrases; 2. defiled, which refers to falsehood; 3. neither defiled nor pure, which refers to the remaining phrases. Because when one part is seen according to the three natures, the nature of the other parts is not different, therefore all are not the Dharma. Furthermore, with reference to attachments, the Liang translation of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha says: "Conceiving nirvāṇa as taking unproduced quiescence as its essence, having the function of freeing from the three sufferings, and so forth—all become attachments to a dharma-self and to what belongs to a self." Therefore, none of them are the Dharma.
