Fourth, what is realized: the Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi states, "the suchness of the superior outflow," meaning that the teaching out-flowing from this suchness is exceedingly superior compared to other teachings. In the seventh fascicle of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha, Asvabhāva explains: "Because the teaching out-flowing from this is supreme, relinquishing one's body and life to seek this well-spoken [teaching] is not considered difficult." The Liang translation of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha explains: "From suchness flows forth fundamental wisdom; from fundamental wisdom flows forth subsequently attained wisdom; from subsequently attained wisdom flows forth great compassion; from great compassion flow forth the twelve divisions of scripture; therefore it is named the dharmadhātu of superior outflow."
