Second, within proceeding to seek according to instruction: first, taking leave; second, recollecting; third, arriving. In the recollection, the first clause is general recollection; because this non-attachment is the rank of skillfulness, generally subsuming the dharmas of all previous ranks, it says "sequentially recollected" and so forth, which is recollecting his doctrinal teachings; second, from "further made" downward recollected the power of his person; third, from "like this" downward explains attaining superior progress due to contemplation. In the great mind are sixteen clauses: the first nine are the minds of practice proper to his rank; second, from "seeing all buddhas" downward attains the mind of superior progress.
