From here down is the second part, clarifying the fruit of this stage. Because of attaining this stage, one also attains this fruit. There are three parts: first, stating the number; next, listing and explaining them; finally, the conclusion. In the explanation, within the ten, all first list the name of the treasury and then explain its meaning: 1. treasury of seeing buddhas; 2. Dharma; 3. mindfulness; 4. wisdom; 5. meaning; 6. vows; 7. virtues; 8. knowledge; 9. eloquence; 10. fruit. Moreover, among these ten, the first six are practices for the benefit of oneself: one is seeing the Buddha, and five are knowing the Dharma. Among the five: first is knowing the principle-Dharma; second is hearing and upholding the teachings; third is understanding the textual teachings; fourth is awakening to the intended purport; fifth is realizing the reality of Dharma—which are also hearing, contemplating, cultivating, and realizing. The next three are practices for the benefit of others: first, responding with the body of merit; second, awakening [others] through mental karma; third, debating and explaining through verbal karma. The last one gathers practices to accomplish the fruit, meaning that through the power of this dedication, the bodhisattva practices are quickly brought to perfection, and therefore one receives the office and attains buddhahood. Finally, 'O sons of the Buddha' and so forth is the conclusion.
