第八會中，大眾起於六十句問，如來現於法界身雲，令諸菩薩皆入法界，舍利弗等五百聲聞雖在會中，如盲如聾無所聞見。後顯善財隨位修行證入法界。上來攝助歸正，故以八會統收皆盡。

In the eighth assembly, the great assembly raises sixty questions, and the Tathāgata manifests a cloud of bodies of the dharmadhātu, causing all the bodhisattvas to enter the dharmadhātu, while Śāriputra and the other five hundred śrāvakas, though in the assembly, are like the blind and the deaf, hearing and seeing nothing. Later it reveals Sudhana cultivating practice in accordance with the stages and realizing entry into the dharmadhātu. As above, gathering the secondary back to the primary, all are completely subsumed under the eight assemblies.
