五顯德故者，謂顯如來自所得法體相用故。體謂法界理智無礙，相謂十蓮花藏微塵數等，明謂毛孔現剎廣益機緣，普賢亦爾。

Fifth, "to reveal virtues": this means to reveal the essence, characteristics, and function of the Dharma personally attained by the Tathāgata. "Essence" refers to the unimpeded principle and wisdom of the dharmadhātu; "characteristics" refers to the dust motes of the ten Padmagarbha [realms] and so forth; "function" refers to manifesting lands within pore-openings to broadly benefit capacities; Samantabhadra is also like this.
